World Cup WIN in a Bates Victrix!

Long-time Bates saddles advocate, Russell Johnstone of the Victorian Showjumping Stables has recently begun to part with his well-loved Bates Caprilli jumping saddles and moved over to the saddle he calls a game-changer, the ALL NEW Bates Victrix (pictured below).

"Russell Johnstone and Daprice soar to Adelaide World Cup Victory" screamed Australian Jumping, as the fourth event in the Australian World Cup Qualifying Series for 2019-20 came to an end at the Royal Adelaide Show.

A look at the FEI World Cup Jumping Standings sees Russell currently ranked in 16th place (as at 27 Oct 2019), still at the top of his game after many years representing Australia at Nations Cups, Olympic Games and across Europe. Just this year, Russell was also crowned Coach of the Year at the Equestrian Victoria Awards Night.

In addition to his off-screen career, Russell has recently signed on to be a part of the Australian television series Jump Off for the second year in a row! A series that peeks into the horse's "life after racing", and one that Bates Saddles is proud to also support as an official saddle partner.

Continuing his unstoppable career, Russell and Daprice (pictured) have recently soared to victory once more in the Adelaide leg of the Australian World Cup qualifying series.

Equestrian Life went on to celebrate that "Russell and Daprice were the only two out of the 18 combinations in the class to produce a double clear round in the World Cup Qualifier class!"

We look forward to continuing to follow Russell as he reaches new heights in the ALL NEW Bates Victrix.
